Jon Wells to depart Castleford

Castleford have confirmed that Jon Wells will step down from his role as director of rugby next month.

Wells, who has been with the Tigers since March 2018, gave his period of notice at the end of last month. He will remain a pundit on Sky Sports.

A Castleford statement read: “The club would like to thank Jon for his service over the past three years and wish him well for the future.”

Wells’ final day in his role will be on May 30.
