Jon Ford returns to Oldham

Salford player Jon Ford has returned to Oldham on loan for another month.

The 21-year-old centre has spent three separate spells with the Roughyeds, scoring seven tries in five games for the Whitebank outfit earlier this season.

In total, he has played 36 games for Oldham, notching 41 tries, in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

“It’s good to have him back,” said Oldham coach Scott Naylor.

“This time I hope he’s able to stay a bit longer. We fully understand why Salford recalled him because of all their injury problems, but it’s nice to have him back and I’m looking forward to seeing him play for us again.

“His return will help immensely, particularly as George Tyson will miss the games against Keighley and North Wales.”
