‘Joker’ Bailey launches testimonial kit

As the Leeds faithful sing, ‘Ryan Bailey does what he wants’, and there is no denying that following the launch of his testimonial kit.

Bailey, 30, is being honoured by the Rhinos with a game against London at Headingley on Friday.

Brian McDermott’s men will swap their traditional blue and yellow strip for a design that includes blue, amber and pink paint splashes, with the players names on the back of the shirts written in a graffiti font.

Bailey’s teammate, and housemate, Brett Delaney is looking forward to the occasion, and he paid tribute to his good friend.

“Everyone thinks he is some big thug but that is on the pitch, said Delaney.

“It’s not reality. He is always laughing and smiling off the field.

“You just need to earn his trust but once you have that you can see the great qualities he has.”

Friday’s match with the Broncos kicks off at 8pm.
