Johns tips Sandow for Warrington

Former Kangaroos legend Andrew ‘Joey’ Johns has stated that Chris Sandow looks set to join Warrington next season.

Johns, who spent a brief spell at Warrington in 2005, was speaking during Triple M NRL‘s Monday Night Football coverage of Parramatta Eels versus Wests Tigers.

“I think Chrissy Sandow’s off to the Warrington Wolves,” said Johns, during the coverage.

Respected Australian journalist Steve Mascord felt that whatever Johns said should be taken seriously, adding: “Joey’s got some good connections at Warrington, so if he says Chris Sandow‘s going there, then he’s going there.”

Sandow has endured an up-and-down season for the Eels, and has been told he can leave the club.

Reports in Australia also suggest that Richie Myler is set to join another Super League club next season, rather than move to the NRL.
