Jarryd Hayne dreams of Titans turn

Jarryd Hayne has snubbed his former club Parramatta and signed a two-year deal with the Gold Coast Titans.

Hayne was widley to return to the Eels, after his bid to make Fiji‘s Olympic Rugby Sevens squad failed and he departed from the NFL.

But the fullback has instead opted to join the Titans, and he could make his debut for the club this weekend.

The contract is believed to be worth AUS$1.2 million a season.

“It’s been a very emotional decision,” Hayne said.

“I’m very honoured and blessed to be up here. It was a tough decision emotionally, but deep down it was the right one.

“It’s been a great journey the last eighteen months and I wouldn’t change it for the world but it’s nice to be settled.”

“They are building a really strong push for the finals, I’m excited to see what we can do.”
