Jamie Thackray joins London Broncos

Jamie Thackray is spending the next month at London Broncos on trial, the club have confirmed.

The 35-year-old prop had been playing in France recently, and has also spent time at a multitude of clubs, including Hull FC, Leeds, Halifax, Castleford and Crusaders.

Broncos interim coach Andrew Henderson is hoping to make use of the prop’s experience and know-how.

“I’ve known Jamie as a player and person for a number of years,” he said.

“He’ll bring a good amount of enthusiasm and understanding of the Championship to the squad we have.

“We have a depleted squad at the moment so I was keen to bring in someone like Jamie who can help us out in this situation.”
