Jamie Ellis leaves Hull FC immediately

Castleford-bound Jamie Ellis has left Hull FC with immediate effect.

Ellis was due to start his contract at the Tigers from 2013, but has decided to leave Hull FC early and take up a possible option in the Championships for the remainder of the season.

Ellis had not made an impact in the Hull FC side this season, and was starved of first team game time.

Hull FC director of rugby Shaun McRae said: “We thank Jamie for his contribution this season and wish him well for the future.”
