Oldham have signed winger Aaron Jones-Bishop from Doncaster on a one-year deal.

Jones-Bishop, 28, is currently on international duty alongside brother Ben for Jamaica, and scored 14 tries in 17 games for the Dons last season.

Roughyeds coach Scott Naylor said: “He’s a good footballer with the pace and skills to do well for us.

“If he comes with the right attitude and the desire to wear the shirt with pride, like the rest of the lads, he will be a big part of our team.”

Born and raised in Leeds, Jones-Bishop played initially for Milford before having a season at Oxford and then transferring to Doncaster in 2016.

He said: “I have a good friend in Jamel Chisholm, who played at Oldham in 2016. He told me it was a good club and to go for it, so I did.”
