Jamaica international Lamont Bryan has signed a new one-year deal with London Skolars.

Bryan originally joined the Skolars in 2016 and has since made 33 appearances for the club, scoring 13 tries.

The German-born forward recently helped Jamaica qualify for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

On re-signing Bryan, Skolars’ coach Jermaine Coleman commented: “Lamont is a fantastic player and is a one off.

“He is capable of producing moments of brilliance that others can’t. Lamont had a fantastic tournament for Jamaica and played some of his best rugby, so I am really happy he has joined us again. I hope he can have a trouble-free season and keep focused on his rugby.”

On committing to the Skolars, Bryan said: “I’m delighted to have re-signed with London Skolars for the 2019 season.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far and can’t wait for the new campaign to start. The club has made some exciting signings and we’ve kept the core group together from last year, which is always a good sign. We all feel we can have a terrific season.”
