Hull FC star Jake Connor has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury.

The England international sustained a knee injury in Sunday’s 28-8 win over Huddersfield Giants at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Connor was withdrawn from action after going down towards the end of the first half.

Hull FC coach Lee Radford commented: “Jake had his scan yesterday and we’ve lost him for up to six weeks.

“We’re disappointed to lose one of our key men, but he’s come back from injury before and not let it affect him long-term.

“Hopefully we’ll have him back out on the field in and around the busy Easter period, I’m just dissatisfied for him and the team as his start to the season has been strong.”

Connor joins Chris Green [Achilles], Josh Bowden [knee], Matty Dawson-Jones [knee], Liam Harris [hamstring] and Jack Sanderson [shoulder] on the sidelines for Hull.
