Jack Reed may retire

Brisbane Broncos centere Jack Reed could be forced into early retirement becase of injury.

Reed has been beset by shoulder problems, but reportedly wants to prove doctors wrong and keep playing.

“You play week to week and obviously you want to be out there, so I’ll just keep working at it,” he told Channel Seven Brisbane.

The England international could potentially seek an insurance payment from the NRL.
