Salford prop Jack Ormondroyd has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

The 29-year-old arrived at the Red Devils from Featherstone ahead of the 2020 season, scoring three tires in 26 games for the club so far.

Ormondroyd said: “I’m really pleased to be staying at Salford for the next two years.

“We’ve got a good group of lads that I’ve enjoyed playing with this year, and I’ve managed to get quite a few games under my belt which I’m happy about.

“I’m looking forward to getting stuck into pre-season next year, and hopefully having a good season on the back of it.”

Salford rirector of rugby and operations Ian Blease added: “I’m really pleased to have Jack with us for another two years, I think his game has really improved this season and he’s been one of our most consistent players.

“I’m looking forward to working with Jack more and watching him progress further into an even more reliable and talented member of the pack.”

Ormondroyd, the son of former professional footballer Ian, has made almost 150 career appearances for Featherstone, Leeds, York and Salford.
