Batley forward Jack Downs and Keighley star Benn Hardcastle have received three-match suspensions.

Downs pleaded guilty to a Grade D strike with the forearm/elbow – reckless charge. The Bulldogs youngster will serve a three-match suspension and has been fined £250.

Keighley’s Hardcastle pleaded guilty but challenged the charge of a Grade C contact with the head charge. The challenge to the grading was unsuccessful and the tribunal found that the Grade C charge was appropriate.

The Cougars man has been handed a three-match ban which comprises of two matches for the original offence at Grade C and one additional match as the tribunal felt the challenge to the grading was frivolous. He has been fined £75 and forfeits a £250 bond for the challenge.

Elsewhere, Sam Tomkins, Adam Jones, Wayne Reittie, Jack Bussey and Daniel Hawksworth all accepted the imposed penalty notices.
