Ireland prop cautioned for careless tackle

Ireland prop Brett White has been cautioned for a careless high tackle during their World Cup defeat to Fiji on Monday night.

White, 31, was penalised for the tackle on Korbin Sims in the fourth minute of the match, that Fiji went on to win 32-14.

The caution will remain on White’s record for the duration of the tournament.

It means he is free to play for Ireland against England at the John Smith’s Stadium, Huddersfield, on Saturday.
