Canterbury’s Krisnan Inu will miss five weeks of action after being suspended for a dangerous tackle.

Inu pleaded guilty at the NRL judiciary to a dangerous throw charge after a spear tackle on South Sydney‘s Greg Inglis during Friday’s 17-12 defeat.

Coach Des Hasler had initially sought to get the charge downgraded, but instead opted to take the early guilty plea

“In this instance we tried to look for some comparable grade three charges from the past but we seemed to have found a number of grade twos,” said Hasler.

“We have chosen to take the early plea and Krisnan will miss the next five matches.”

Meanwhile prop James Graham will miss one match after being charged by the match review committee for dangerous contact during a Holden Cup clash.

Graham will be available to face the Roosters on April 12.
