Inu hit with ban

Canterbury centre Krisnan Inu will miss two matches after being slapped with a ban by the NRL judiciary.

The Bulldogs opted to take the early guilty plea to a grade two dangerous contact charge after Inu’s ugly leg twist on Newcastle winger James McManus.

He will be replaced by 21-year-old Tim Lafai for the match with Brisbane at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

The Bulldogs will be looking to redeem themselves following their 44-8 demolition by the Knights at Hunter Stadium on Sunday.

“Our ball control has been poor and we really need to work harder on getting that right,” skipper Michael Ennis told the club’s official website.

“We still believe we are a good footy team, we just need to stick together and it will come.”
