Injury blow for Titans

Jetstar Gold Coast Titans player Matthew Petersen will undergo exploratory surgery on Monday morning the 14th of January after injuring his knee during Tuesdays Open training session at Pizzey Park.

Petersen felt a sharp pain after accelerating during a team drill and immediately left the field for treatment.

An MRI scan revealed the former International (Represented the United States of America) has injured the lateral side of his right knee.

Monday's arthroscopy will reveal the extent of Matt's injury and determine how long the twenty six year old will spend recovering.
