Inglis banned for three matches

South Sydney‘s charge towards a top four NRL spot suffered a blow with news that Greg Inglis will miss three matches through suspension.

Inglis was charged with dangerous contact after a shoulder charge that knocked out St George back-rower Dean Young last weekend.

However, the NRL judiciary accepted the Rabbitohs’ plea to downgrade the charge from grade 4 to 3 and banned him for three matches.

Inglis will be available again for the round 24 clash against Cronulla.
