In-form Hull KR hooker Jez Litten excited to go up against James Roby

Jez Litten is looking forward to challenging himself against James Roby when Hull KR face St Helens on Friday night.

Litten, who played the full 80 minutes in their win over Wigan last week, looked up to Roby when he was growing up and is excited to go up against the Saints number nine.

He said: “He’s someone I looked up to growing up.

“I hope I can put in a good performance against him.”

St Helens are boosted by the return of hooker Roby, second-rower Zeb Taia and scrum-half Theo Fages after all three sat out last Friday’s win over Huddersfield.

Hull KR welcome back prop Mitch Garbutt after missing the last two matches with a calf injury while Matt Parcell is set to return and share the hooking duties with Litten.

In Friday’s other game, Huddersfield will be looking to atone for a 27-26 defeat at Headingley just a month ago when they take on Leeds.

The Rhinos are boosted by the return of centre Konrad Hurrell and second-rowers James Donaldson and Alex Mellor while Huddersfield will give a debut to new recruit Chris McQueen.
