In-form Batley on a high

Batley General Manager Paul Harrison is hoping to capitalise on the feel-good factor surrounding the club, as they hunt a sixth straight victory this weekend.

The Bulldogs are right on the tails of Championship leaders Leigh after an impressive run of wins, and meet the Centurions live on SKY Sports in a few weeks.

Harrison told the club’s official website: “As you can imagine the mood throughout the club is brilliant, right through from our ground staff up to the Chairman and Directors. And I’m sure all Bulldog fans are enjoying going to work Monday morning with a great big smile on their faces talking about the weekend’s performance.

“We have got lots of promotions going on for this game (against Leigh) so hopefully the Batley public will get behind the team.

“I’m sure it will be a very hard fought game, when we played Leigh earlier in the season they were playing really really well and still are. But I’m sure they won’t be looking forward to playing us at The Mount, especially with us winning our last 5 games on the bounce.”
