Salford coach Ian Watson wants the team to maintain their good attitude when they face Halifax.

The Red Devils have enjoyed a good start to their Qualifiers campaign, having beat Hull Kingston Rovers and Widnes Vikings.

They face Championship sides Halifax and Toronto Wolfpack next and Watson does not want his side getting complacent.

He said: ‘We’ve earned a little bit of time off and that will benefit the players.

“We’ve won two from two, but we’ve got to make sure that our attitude which we talk about in terms of work ethic and mentality is here going into our game against Halifax.

“It’s all about professionalism going through the Qualifiers.

“We’ve managed to overcome two Super League teams, but our professionalism comes into account when we have to face the Championship sides such as Halifax and Toronto.”

The Red Devils face Halifax at The MBI Shay on Sunday, 3pm kick-off.
