Hunslet sign young Cas centre

Hunslet have signed young centre Matthew Harding from Castleford on a three-year deal.

Harding, 20, is a former Headingley Hawks junior and spent time on trial with Hunslet last season, featuring in a number of reserve games towards the back end of the campaign.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said: “Matthew has all the ingredients needed to make a top quality centre although it wont happen overnight we hope to develop him into a first team regular and the fact we rewarded him with a long term deal says it all about our expectations of him.”
