Hunslet RLFC announce 2022 squad numbers

League 1 club Hunslet RLFC have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2022 campaign.

Long-serving full-back Jimmy Watson will wear the number one shirt. The club will have a half-back pairing of Dave Gibbons and Jack Mallinson, who have been given six and seven respectively.

Jamaica international Wayne Reittie has been given the number two shirt, with Kiedan Hartley being his wing partner with five.

Former Featherstone and Sheffield centre Jack Render has been given three, with experienced centre Jason Mossop being given four.

Jamaica international Aaron Jones-Bishop, the brother of Sheffield speedster Ben, has been given 18. Malta international Dean Zammit has taken number 24.

Former Leeds hooker Harvey Whiteley will wear the number nine for the Parksiders in 2022. Front-row duo Harvey Hallas and Duane Straugheir have been given eight and 10 respectively.

Ex-Leeds and York forward Josh Jordan-Roberts has taken the number 11 shit, with Joe Summers partnering him in the back-row with 12.

Jordan Syme, who arrived at Hunslet from fellow League 1 club Rochdale, will wear 13.

Former Huddersfield youngster Jacob Beer is hoping for a big year for Hunslet so he can make the Italy squad for next year’s World Cup. He will don the 26 shirt.

Former England Colleges captain Jordan Paga is a new arrival at Hunslet after signing a one-year deal. The ex-Huddersfield and Coventry Bears youngster will wear 23.
