Hunslet raise almost £2k through special NHS training shirts

Drew Darbyshire

Hunslet have received almost £2,000 in orders for their NHS training tops.

The top was only launched at the start of last week, with the club showing their appreciation of frontline workers in the battle against coronavirus.

Hunslet general manager Peter Todd said: “Its a tremendous response.

“Our supporters, from near and far, have wasted no time at all in getting behind the drive and we’ve no reason to doubt that when the offer expires we’ll be able to pass on a substantial sum to the NHS.”
