Championship 1 winners Hunslet have retained the services of player coach Paul March and his twin brother David for a further 12 months.

Both players were named in the Championship 1 team of the year, and Paul guided the Hawks to promotion in his first full season in charge of the club following his move from York.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said: “We’re thrilled to reach this extension with Paul for a further season, he achieved all the goals we set him for 2010 and now look to kick on in the tough environment of the Championship.

“I’m positive Paul will prove to be one of the top halves in the Championship his direction and his never say die attitude have made him a firm favourite with the supporters and some of his link up play with his brother is sheer quality.

“Once Paul agreed we turned our attention to David he has been absolutely immense this year he’s on the shortlist for the Player of the Year at the League dinner next week so that shows how highly he’s held in the game, some of his offloads are a joy to behold and we’re thrilled to have them both tied down for 2011.”
