Hunslet are asking for fans to vote on whether they would like to see home games switched to Saturday nights at 6pm.
The Hawks, who will play in Championship 1 next season, have traditionally played games at 3pm on Sunday, but have now asked their fan base if they would like a change.
A statement said: “Visiting support will be limited next season and it is vitally important that we increase our own support, and floating support in 2014 to subsidise the missing away support that would had visited the South Leeds Stadium in the Championship.
“The board feel by moving fixtures to Saturday evenings there is more potential to increase home attendances and revenue through the Phoenix suite.
“The boards thinking was also influenced by the recent World Cup games for both students and women which were played on a Saturday evenings. Both matches drew good crowds and showed that there is a real appetite for Saturday evening matches.”
