Hunslet consider Leeds options

Hunslet will turn to dual-registration players, possibly from Leeds, after releasing Loz Wildbore with immediate effect.

The much travelled utility player has left the South Leeds Stadium without playing a game for the club due to work commitments.

Hawks coach Barry Eaton will now discuss potential dual registration options with Leeds Rhinos Head of Youth Barrie McDermott, as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of their Championship campaign.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said of Wildbore: “It’s disappointing to lose Loz before he’s really started with us but he has to put his full time employment commitments in front of semi professional rugby so we have mutually agreed to his immediate release.”
