Hull swoop for Wade McKinnon

Hull FC have signed exciting West Tigers’ full back Wade McKinnon on a free transfer for the 2012 season.

The 30-year old Australian’s contract with West Tigers ran until the end of 2012, although he has been released from the final year.

Commenting on the move, McKinnon stated “I’m really excited about the move, I have some people at the club I am close to and the feedback I have has has been great”

Coach Richard Agar added “In the current climate where it is becoming increasingly difficult to attract top quality Australian players, to have secured Wade services is a real coup for the club.

“He has a genuine desire to play in England and do well and he will bring a lot to our side.

“Wade is an intense competitor and will bring a lot to the table both offensively and defensively for us. He is an outstanding talent.”
