Hull sign Turner

Salford loose forward Jordan Turner will leave the club at the end of the season to join Hull.

Turner, 20, was out of contract at The Willows and has decided to move on after a frustrating season which has seen him often played out of position by coach Shaun McRae.

Salford Director of Football of Steve Simms said: “We believe Jordan Turner is an exceptional talent and we are obviously disappointed he has chosen not to stay with us at the end of his contract after the great investment Salford City Reds have put in to his development.

“He has represented his country at the highest junior and Academy levels and if he continues to develop at the same rate he has the potential to become a great player. It is now up to the Clubs to put a value on that achievement and potential.”

The two clubs must now agree a compensation fee for the youngster, as he is under the age of 22.
