Hull FC are expected to announce Peter Gentle as the new Head Coach after announcing that Richard Agar will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Black & Whites announced earlier today that Agar was leaving the Head Coach role at the end of the season, as well as announcing that former coach Shaun McRae was to take up the position of Director of Rugby.

It is understood that Hull are bringing their recruitment process to a close with Gentle expected to be unveiled as the new coach.

The Australian is currently the assistant coach of NRL outfit Wests Tigers and was also linked to the Salford and Hull KR roles.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
