Hull KR’s Elliot Minchella and Hull’s Andre Savelio handed one-match bans

Hull KR forward Elliot Minchella and Hull forward Andre Savelio have both been handed one-match bans by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel.Minchella was charged with a Grade B dangerous throw on Owen Trout during his side’s defeat at Huddersfield while Savelio was found guilty of a Grade B offence of using his knees in a tackle on Michael Shenton during his team’s win over Castleford.

St Helens duo James Graham and Jonny Lomax were both given Grade A charges for dangerous tackles in the win over Wigan and avoided any suspension.

Similarly, Salford back-rower Tyrone McCarthy and Catalans Dragons prop Sam Moa were found guilty of dangerous play but not enough to warrant any punishment.

Moa was also given a caution for a separate offence in the win over Wakefield, along with Leeds forwards Bodene Thompson and Ava Seumanufagai.

Castleford prop Matt Cook was told that his sin-binning for a dangerous tackle in the game against Hull was sufficient punishment.
