Hull KR will be boosted by the returns of Kane Linnett, Lachlan Coote and Ryan Hall for Friday’s visit of Leeds.

Robins coach Danny McGuire has confirmed that the trio will make their returns from the sidelines for Friday night’s Super League clash.

“Kane and Hally definitely,” McGuire said when asked about the potential returns. “Cootey has not missed a beat since the game. He’s got one last (concussion) test tonight so fingers crossed he should be fine for selection on Friday.

“We’ve got bags of experience coming back and they are going to be a big addition to the team with the energy they’ll bring. I’m looking forward to those boys getting back out on the field.”

McGuire says half-back Mikey Lewis is 50/50 ahead of Friday’s game, whilst prop Albert Vete is still some way off returning to action.

“Mikey has trained the first two days and we are just waiting to see how he reacts and settles down,” McGuire said. “It is probably 50/50.

“Albie is still a fair bit off, he’s not back training yet.”

Young full-back Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e and centre Sam Wood both picked up knocks in Thursday’s 22-16 win over Toulouse. McGuire said they will both be available to play this week.

“Phoenix has started training again,” McGuire said. “I don’t think it was too bad, he was just struggling with his mobility during the game. He’s fine now and recovered well. He’ll be better for these experiences. He is back in training this week and available for selection.

“Woody got a knock to his shoulder but he has trained today. I said to the players earlier that most teams at this stage of the year are doing it tough with players carrying knocks and we’re no different to everyone else. We’ve got to be tough, strap things up and play through the pain barrier at times. There’ll be numerous players doing that this week.”
