Hull KR trio to miss opening rounds

Shaun Lunt and Kevin Larroyer will join Terry Campese on the sidelines as injuries mean they are also unavailable for the start of Hull KR‘s Super League campaign.

Lunt hurt his ankle in training and is expected to be out for up to six weeks. Larroyer discolated his shoulder in the Robins’ friendly loss to Huddersfield on Sunday.

Campese injured his ACL in June last year and still recovering. Initially the hope was that the Australian would be fit for the opening game, against Castleford on February 7, but that is now no longer the case.

Frenchman Larroyer is seeing a specialist soon to know how long he will be out for.

The news is a blow to Hull KR as the club prepares for the 2016 season.
