Hull KR to play Catalan in Toulouse

Hull KR‘s away game against Catalan will played at the Stade Ernest Wallon, the home of Toulouse rugby union club, on Saturday June 22nd.

The Dragons have taken a number of home games on the road in recent years, as they look to raise awareness of Super League in France.

Last season, they took on Wigan at the La Mosson Stadium in Montpellier.

Stade Ernest-Wallon has a capacity of 19,500, and has previously hosted international rugby league between England and France.

It also hosted the 2009 Four Nations game between France and New Zealand.

The stadium is approximately 4km away from the home of Toulouse rugby league team, who competed in the Championships between 2009 and 2011.

It is more than 200km from the regular home of Catalan, the Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan.
