Hull KR player ratings as dropped star discovers superb form

Hull KR secured a third straight victory as they eased to victory over Castleford Tigers, winning 44-0. Tom Davies and Tyrone May both scored twice in a strong display that strengthened their play-off hopes. Here are the player ratings.

Jack Broadbent – 6: Had a few shaky moments but had a decent night overall and linked into the attack well.

Tom Davies – 8: Came up with a huge defensive play early in the game when the game was scoreless, then took his tries very well.

Peta Hiku – 7: A few poor moments early in the game but then improved as the game went on.

Oliver Gildart – 6: A steady evening on the whole for the centre.

Joe Burgess – 9: Outstanding. Two superbly taken tries, including an intercept when under pressure. Found some form.

Tyrone May – 8: Quality player who has probably been Rovers’ best this year.

Ryan Hampshire – 7: Doing a very solid job in Mikey Lewis’ absence.

Sauaso Sue – 7: Laid a strong platform on his return to the side.

Jez Litten – 8: Brilliant individual try to open the scoring and posed a constant threat.

Dean Hadley – 7: The man never has a bad game.

Jai Whitbread – 7: Played a strong part in a big defensive effort.

James Batchelor – 8: Was very, very good defensively.

Elliot Minchella – 8: Another player who has really found his form in recent weeks. 300th career appearance.

Tom Amone – 7: A strong effort through the middle of the field.

Sam Luckley – 6: Put a shift in without standing out.

Rhyse Martin – 7: Got on the scoresheet in a pretty good showing.
