Hull KR not getting carried away despite win

Hull KR hooker Shaun Lunt says they won’t be getting carried away despite their win over Super League side Leigh on Saturday.

Rovers took a huge step towards an immediate return to the top flight with a 20-16 win over the Centurions, their second successive win to start The Qualifiers.

Lunt said: “We are delighted with the victory but at the end of the day, it’s only one win.

“That’s our second win of the mini-series and it counts for nothing if we don’t go on and win the rest of the five.

“We’re not going to get carried away with ourselves. It was a fantastic win, a real hard fought victory and we’re all buzzing.

“But at the same time, we’ve got to be realistic and realise there are still five very hard games to play.”

Hull KR’s next two games are against Championship opposition, London at home this Sunday followed by a trip to Featherstone.

They then welcome Super League’s bottom side, Widnes, to Craven Park.
