Hull KR have launched a limited edition military kit to mark Armed Forces Day 2014 and raise funds for the Yorkshire Regiment Benovolent Trust.

Rovers will wear the specially designed kit (pictured) for the televised clash against Huddersfield at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Thursday June 26, ahead of Armed Forces Day on Saturday June 28.

Joe Clutterbrook, Rovers’ General Manager, said: “We are really honoured to be able to do something which will directly benefit members of the Yorkshire Regiment, both past and present. We already have strong links with the regiment and this will serve to further enhance those.

“Our fans have long been outspoken in their desire for the club to launch a shirt which recognises the fantastic work our armed forces do, and I’m sure the sales of this shirt will demonstrate how strongly our fans feel about this. We think the design is a real winner and it will be great to see the boys run out in this special kit against Huddersfield in June.”

Shirts are priced at £50 for adults and £40 for juniors, which includes a £5 donation to the Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Trust, which raises funds for the benefit and welfare of officers and soliders of the Yorkshire Regiment and their families.
