Hull KR duo yet to arrive from PNG

Papua New Guinea internationals Francis Paniu and Enoch Maki may see their careers with Hull KR halted before they begin, due to visa problems.

Paniu, 24, and Maki, also 24, were announced as Rovers players during the World Cup, with the pair signing one-year deals.

However, the Hull Daily Mail reports that obtaining the necessary paperwork is proving a stumbling block, with the proposed moves in real danger of falling down as a result.

So while the rest of the Robins’ squad are being put through their paces ahead of the 2014 season, the duo remain in their homeland, unable to be a part of head coach Craig Sandercock’s plans.
