Hull KR captain Shaun Lunt awarded testimonial

Hull KR skipper Shaun Lunt has been awarded a testimonial following a fantastic club career in Super League.

The 31-year-old hooker, who is due to return from injury in the next couple of weeks, is a former England and England Knights international who has made over 300 career appearances since his debut for Castleford Tigers in 2005.

Lunt is Rovers’ reigning Player of the Year and is a former winner of the Super League Grand Final during his time at Leeds Rhinos.

He also led Hull KR to promotion from the Championship back to Super League at the first time of asking in 2017.
