The Papua New Guinea star is training with Rovers already, and could appear in Chris Chester’s squad for the home game with Salford at the weekend.
Chan has played 15 Super League games for the Giants this season, and gives Chester more pack options with injuries biting.
“We are delighted to welcome Jason to the club until the end of the season and we are looking forward to seeing him pull on the Rovers shirt,” said Chester.
“We’ve got one or two injuries in the pack at the moment so to bring in such a quality player at this stage of the year is a real bonus for the club.
“I’d like to thank Huddersfield for their cooperation in allowing Jason to go out on loan and we are excited to have him on board.”
