Hull KR 36-16 Warrington

Warrington lost ground at the top of Super League as they were comprehensively beaten by Hull KR.

Richie Mathers had given the Wolves an early lead, but Rovers gained the upper hand thanks to tries from Kris Welham, Ben Cockayne and Shaun Briscoe.

Matt King and Chris Riley brought the visitors level with tries either side of half time, but the Rovers cut loose in the second half to win 36-16 at Craven Park.

Michael Dobson set up Peter Fox to give Rovers a lead they would never relinquish, before Matt Cook all but sealed the victory in the final quarter.

And Fox rubbed salt in the wounds, taking advantage of a poor David Solomona offload to round off the scoring under the posts.
