Hull FC’s unwanted stars impress potential suitors in ratings from St Helens win

Hull FC recorded a long overdue Super League victory – their first since June – as they inflicted yet more misery on St Helens on Thursday evening.

The Black and Whites’ travelling support were rewarded with a magnificent victory, one of their best of 2026, as their players put up a fight not seen for some time.

They wanted it more than the Saints, and it certainly showed. Here are the ratings..

Logan Moy: 7

A much more steady night than in recent weeks.

Harvey Barron: 8

Made one or two errors in possession that Hull could have done without, but took his tries well.

Zak Hardaker: 9

Back to his best. Led the defensive efforts with plenty of energy and made some crucial tackles. Their best player this season.

Tom Briscoe: 8

Followed Hardaker’s example in the centres with another impressive showing. One of the Black and Whites’ best ball carriers.

Lewis Martin: 7

Some shaky moments; understandably so given how he’s returned to the team. But on the whole, did a good job.

Jake Arthur: 8

One of his more composed and assured displays.

Aidan Sezer: 9

On nights like this, you do wonder whether he could still have a future at Hull. They want him gone – but he’ll do a job for someone. A brilliant display with the ball.

Herman Ese’ese: 9

It was speculated pre-match this could be his last game at Hull – that remains to be seen but goodness, he looked like the Ese’ese of old here with a blockbuster performance.
