Hull FC have dominated their cross-town rivals Hull KR 60-20 in a friendly today.

The Airlie Birds took a commanding 36-10 lead into the half-time break.

A double from Jamie Shaul, deadly goal-kicking from Marc Sneyd and tries to debutants Carlos Tuimavave, Mahe Fonua and Sika Manu put them in control in the first 40 minutes.

Hull FC went up another gear in the second half, Scott Taylor and Mark Minichiello bagging four-pointers.

Trialist Lee Smith and a second for Tuimavave help bring up 60 points.

Kieron Dixon managed two consolation tries for the Robins in the second half. The flyer scored his second with just three minutes left in the game.

But it’s a worring sign for Hull KR after they were thumped by Huddersfield last weekend.
