Hull FC run riot over Doncaster

Callum Lancaster bagged a hat-trick as Hull FC defeated Doncaster 46-12 in a friendly today.

In a try-laden first half Leon Pryce got the opening score. Curtis Naughton got the second and then Callum Lancaster got the third, putting Hull FC up 14-0 after just 11 minutes.

Brad Clavering forced his way over, with his first touch of the game, and then Jansin Turgut scored to make it 24-0.

Youngster Ross Osborne was the next to cross and Hull FC had a 30-0 buffer at the interval.

In the second half Lancaster got his double after a nice cut-out pass from Pryce.

Doncaster finally responded on 53 minutes, Jordan Howden taking an interception and racing away to make the score 34-6.

But the Airlie Birds’ assault continued and soon Lancaster had his hat-trick.

Doncaster fullback Tom Carr was then sin-binned for a late hit on Naughton. The young outside back was then substituted.

Centre Richard Whiting was the next to grab a four-pointer for Hull FC.

Prop Connor Scott managed to respond for the Dons after a quick tap, the final try of the game making it 46-12.
