Hull FC prop Chris Satae has length of ban reduced

Hull FC prop Chris Satae has had a three-match ban reduced to two following the club’s successful appeal.

The 27-year-old was initially suspended for three games after being charged with a Grade C offence by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel for a late hit on Hull KR forward George Lawler in last Friday’s derby.

Hull contested the severity of the suspension and it has now been confirmed that the charge has been downgraded to a Grade B offence, therefore his ban has been reduced to two matches.

Satae will miss Hull’s upcoming matches against St Helens and Wigan.
