Hull FC hooker Stuart Howarth has been tipped for a loan move to a rival Super League club with Wakefield a likely destination.

Howarth joined the Black and Whites on one-year deal at the start of 2015 after leaving Salford.

The 25-year old has made five appearances for Hull FC this season, his last coming against the Red Devils on May 1, but has been unable to cement a first-team spot.

Howarth spent March on a one-month at Championship club Doncaster. A Wigan Academy product, the hooker debuted for Wakefield in Super League in 2011 and spent the 2013 season at St Helens.

Love Rugby League understands Howarth could make a return to the Wildcats, his former club, on loan.

Hull FC were unavailable for comment at the time of writing while Wakefield declined to comment.

The Wildcats currently prop up the Super League table with just two wins after 14 rounds.
