Hull FC have confirmed that back-rower Andre Savelio has played his last game of the year.

The 27-year-old suffered an ACL injury during their Good Friday derby at Craven Park last week. He joins Hull team-mate Joe Cator (Achilles) on the sidelines for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Savelio had made six appearances in the 2022 Super League season. He was forced from the field through injury against Hull KR last week.

Taylor set to return for Hull FC

However, head coach Brett Hodgson is hopeful that Scott Taylor will make his first appearance of the season against Catalans.

Taylor, 31, saw his 2021 campaign cut short through injury. He suffered another setback when he injured his foot in training earlier this year.

He has been named in Hull’s squad to face the Dragons at the MKM Stadium this weekend.

Meanwhile, Josh Griffin and Adam Swift are expected to miss almost a month of action through injury.

Griffin, 31, has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Swift has a foot issue.

The pair have been ruled out for four weeks.

Cameron Scott has returned to on-field running again this week after sustaining an ankle injury in round three. Hull FC are hoping that the 22-year-old will return mid-May.

Ben McNamara continues to recover from a back problem. The club confirmed that the medical staff are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old. The son of Catalans head coach Steve, McNamara made his debut for Hull in 2020. He has made four appearances so far this season.

Centre Connor Wynne failed his head assessment after a knock in Easter Monday’s win over Warrington. He will be unavailable for selection for this week’s match.
