Hull FC forward Josh Bowden has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

The 26-year-old sustained damage to his knee ligaments in last week’s Challenge Cup victory over Featherstone Rovers and he will be out for the rest of the 2018 campaign.

FC coach Lee Radford has provided an injury update on the rest of his squad ahead of Sunday’s Magic Weekend derby against Hull KR.

Fetuli Talanoa and Carlos Tuimavave will both miss the next 10 weeks after they picked up ankle injuries in the game at Featherstone.

Half-back duo Marc Sneyd and Albert Kelly have also found themselves on the treatment table after picking up injuries in recent weeks.

Sneyd could miss the next three months with a knee injury while Kelly is approximately five weeks away from full fitness.

However, Scott Taylor and Mickey Paea could return to face their former club at St James’ Park on Sunday, while Jack Logan could also return to action after recovering from a leg injury picked up earlier this year.
