Hull have confirmed that four players have left the club upon the expiry of their contracts.

Ireland international Lewis Bienek has joined Castleford on a one-year deal but with an option to extend until the end of 2022.

Youngsters Ryan Johnson, Charlie Patterson Lund and Charlie Graham have left Hull without making first team appearances.

Veteran forward Gareth Ellis has officially announced his retirement and will join the club’s coaching staff in 2021.

They join Albert Kelly (returned to Australia), Ratu Naulago (Bristol Bears RU), Kieran Buchanan (Batley) and Liam Harris (Halifax) who have already departed the KCOM Stadium.

A club statement read: “The Black & Whites would like to thank all the players for their service to the club and wish them and their families the very best in their future endeavours.”
