Hull 18-21 Bradford

Bradford’s fifth successive win wasn’t enough to secure a play-off place, thanks to Catalans’ victory over St Helens.

The Bulls overcame Hull 21-18 at the KC Stadium, as Richard Agar’s men signed off a disappointing year with their 17th defeat of the season.

Tom Briscoe put the home side in front, but tries from Michael Worrincy and Paul Deacon gave the visitors a 12-6 half time advantage.

A Deacon penalty and a try from James Donaldson put the Bulls further ahead near the hour mark, before two quick fire tries from Lee Radford and Briscoe levelled things up at 18-18.

Deacon knocked over a drop goal to give his side the lead and then he sealed the win with a penalty goal on the hooter.
